I am inspired by the local countryside around Leamington Spa, by my ever-changing children, challenging matters of faith, beautiful spirituality, and the fleeting, rambling thoughts that characterise who I am.

I have always had a fascination for calligraphy and for Celtic design.
This has broadened over the years to include painting in both a figurative and abstract way. I want my work to communicate something profound and significant to the viewer and much of my work has a symbolic feel, almost iconic.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, pen and ink, acrylic and mixed media, and work on both small and larger scales.
At times I am hesitant to call myself an artist, and like many others go through phases of doubting my abilities. But the sense of calling to do this work has never gone away, and my commitment to bring a little bit more light and life into the world remains. I hope that the work achieves this simple but demanding goal.
I am in my thirties, married to Andrew, and we have two children, Emily and Elizabeth. We live in Leamington Spa, serving the lively local church community. I am by nature a ‘people person’, and thrive on conversation with both good friends and new contacts.
